I bought this for my daughter after recently saying goodbye to our beloved dog Bertie. He was 15 and was only a year old when my daughter was born so they have grown up together. She was devastated when the dreaded day arrived. The inner case is engraved 'Bertie' and date of death. She loves the necklace, it really is beautiful, and has only taken it off for PE at school.
